Mini Company
(ages 4-7)
AJT’s Mini Company will focus on introducing kids to singing and dancing with theater games and repetition. Whether you have a young actor destined for Broadway or someone who just wants to be with their peers and have fun, the Mini Company is for them! This group will help young kids build the foundation necessary to take on the big stage as they get older. Kids in the Mini Company will not be in the big shows, but instead will partake in an exciting class series that ends with a showcase for parents. The theme of the specific show we are rehearsing for during the time of the class will be a focus of the Mini Company’s material.
FALL 2025: Mini Co Acting/Singing/Dancing class series: The Little Mermaid.
Rehearsals are once per week on Sunday from 12:00-1:00pm beginning Sept 7 through Dec 14. Registration is first come, first serve for up to 20 children ages 4-7. Cost is $195, plus the yearly registration fee of $50 to sign up for classes and dance. $100 of this is a non-refundable deposit should you need to drop from the class.
On the last day of class, we have a mini showcase/performance. Our little actors dress up in costumes from home and come show their parents what they have learned over the 13-week class series. Our teacher is amazing and kids love this movement, music and play-based class. No class Nov 30 for Thanksgiving.

Beginning Spring 2026

Rising Stars – Recreational Theater Ensemble
Rising Stars is the perfect entry point for young performers eager to shine on stage! Designed for kids who are new to theater, younger actors, or seasoned AJT students looking to grow into lead roles, this group offers a fun, supportive, and low-commitment way to build confidence and develop essential stage skills.
With just one rehearsal per week, students will explore the fundamentals of acting, singing, and dancing, all under the expert guidance of AJT’s Musical Director, Melena Dillingham. The inaugural Rising Stars production will be Matilda the Musical JR, a delightful and inspiring show that gives every performer a chance to shine.
The season begins in early February 2026 and will conclude with two performances on Saturday, May 9th at the newly outfitted AJT Black Box Theater.
Whether your child is taking their first bow or reaching for the spotlight, Rising Stars is where their journey begins. Let the magic of theater take root and watch them shine!
Cost is $350, plus the yearly membership fee of $50. *Costumes are included, but are for use in this musical only and will remain the property of AJT.
Conservatory
Beginning Spring 2026

AJT’s Conservatory – Advanced Theater Ensemble
AJT’s Conservatory is our most advanced theater group, designed for passionate and experienced young performers who are ready to fully commit to their craft. This elite ensemble is for students who take theater seriously and are eager to embrace the rigor, discipline, and artistry of professional-level productions.
The Conservatory’s first production beginning in early February 2026 will be the beloved and powerful full Broadway version of Little Women, offering students the opportunity to bring richly developed characters to life in a demanding and rewarding show.
Conservatory members rehearse twice per week on Fridays and Sundays, with rehearsals increasing to 4–5 times per week as showtime approaches. These performers are challenged with full-length musicals (not just JR versions) and have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with adult actors, gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, high-level theater environment.
Conservatory students are encouraged to deepen their training by enrolling in supplemental dance and music classes at AJT, helping them grow into versatile, well-rounded performers.
This group is perfect for students who are hungry for growth, committed to excellence, and excited to take on demanding roles with professionalism and passion. If your child is ready for the next level, AJT’s Conservatory is where dedication meets opportunity—and stars are born.
Cost is $450 per show, plus the yearly membership fee of $50, which includes twice-weekly rehearsals and more frequent rehearsals as the show nears. This price works out to less than $3 per hour!!! *Costumes are included, but are for use in this musical only and will remain the property of AJT.
